Project Description
Col. Scott St. Sauver talks military life and how shared experiences unify human beings in deployment and post military life.
After multiple deployments in the middle east and a decorated career his final military assignment prior to retirement for Col. St. Sauver was Post Commander of Camp Ripley in Minnesota – one of the largest National Guard training bases in the country. During his command, he hosted world-leaders and famous wrestlers acting as State Governor Gov. Jesse Ventura creating colorful stories. Yet what’s important here is that his lessons from middle-east deployment turned into ideas for bringing veterans together to share outdoor experiences hunting and fishing were sprouted at Camp Ripley and his life’s mission of helping veterans help each-other is realized. Today the retired Colonel is co-host of American Hero’s TV and works tirelessly with countless military support organizations around the world. His story, is the story of hero’s.
